I've lived with cats my whole life, and my current cats have been with me for 9 years. I know and understand that they need not only to be fed, but also to be brushed regularly and played with to maintain their mental and physical health. If I suspect they’re not feeling well, I can take them to a good clinic and provide medical care (pills, drops, etc.). I’ve been volunteering for a year with a project that spays, neuters, and treats cats, so I have a lot of experience interacting with animals of very different temperaments. You could say I’m a pro at feeding and cleaning litter boxes :) I wash my hands thoroughly multiple times a day, so the chance of bringing in anything harmful from outside is minimal. During a visit, I can spend 100% of the time cleaning up after your pet if it’s a 1–2-hour sitting.
